Seems that Allah has shown his signs this past week. People are fed up with their situations and their patience stops. I always seem to play the role in this movie called “life” of motivating them to push on. Thus so must I. You see, in relationships we make our bed. We make choices of who we choose to be with. When it gets too uncomfortable, then like kids we want to play another game with someone else.
But then we wonder why we dont get the respect we want from others and ourselves. Fulfilling your God given responsibilities in a relationship is NOT contingent on the other person. Your responsibility is contingent upon Allah, regardless of what the other person does or does not do.
Now I am not blind to the fact that some relationships are toxic unsafe and should be ended asap. However 9 out of 10 relationships should remain. What we should divorce ourselves from is our lower desires. Many of us (including myself) have taken our desires as gods. The fantasy of many of us brothers having multiple gorgeous women trailing behind us submissive to our whims has become our god and thus we dont submit ourselves to anything but that fantasy. My sisters, having that fine brother we can be intimate with at all levels, protected secure and wealthy and will submit to our whim because “I come first in his life” has become Allah.
So we dont submit ourselves to anything but that, including the real Allah. Because deep down we want to BE Allah. So we use religion scripture and whatever we can get our hands on to speak on behalf of the created god that is actually our desires and we tell everyone that it is Allah almighty speaking from on high when deep down we want to perpetuate our own god complex that yes, both men and women have, Muslim Non Muslim all races rich poor or in between.
Then we wonder why we are in perpetual misery, stagnation, and unfulfillment. The only way out is to imitate a teacher more elevated than ourselves who shows us how to . Thus we must develop self to get out of this state of being. If we do not submit ourselves to Allah then nothing will submit itself to us, especially whatever we love. When we submit ourselves to Allah then Allah will submit the creation in His infinite manifestations to us Just as the angels bowed to Adam, so must everything bow to the complete Human Being.

The heavens and earth could not contain Allah, but the heart of the believer can contain Allah
How can God be just sufficient for us? He whose worth is far from anything measurable.
To say that Allah is sufficient for you is actually to say that nothing suffices for you, because Allah is infinite. How can the infinite be equated to something that is simply “sufficient”? thus a believing heart can become worthy of containing Allah, by not being satisfied by anything of lesser value… And know that Allah is the only possessor of Worth. And then if there is no end to the worth of Allah, so too can a believer’s heart be of True value. And so the believer only increases.
حسبنا الله و نعمل وكيل. و سبحان ربك رب العزة عما يصفون
Transitional Anxiety
It sounds almost psychologically convoluted, but probably everybody goes through it at one time or another. Transitional anxiety can be for a few seconds, a few minutes, a few weeks, a few years, or your entire lifetime. Its that feeling that arises of uncertainty or anxiousness when you are between two settled points or stages in your life. You knew what was appropriate to do in the past, and you’re in an uncertain stage in the present, because you don’t know what you’re gonna do in the future, nor do you know how you’re going to do it.
One of the cures for transitional anxiety is, to patiently persevere in doing right to the best of your ability and understanding until clarity automatically manifests itself.
You must learn to say “no” completely, before you can learn to say “Yes”
Do not admire yourself. Sometimes you may be deceived by your property and your bodily health into supposing that you will last forever. Sometimes you are deceived by your long life, your children, and your friends into thinking that you will be saved by them. Sometimes you are deceived by your beauty and the circumstances of your birth, which bring you your hopes and desires so easily that you think that you are truthful and successful in achieving your goal. Sometimes you are deceived by the regret you show people for your shortcoming in worship, but Allah knows the opposite of that is in your heart. Sometimes you make yourself worship in a spirit of reluctance, but Allah desires sincerity. Sometimes you imagine that you are calling on Allah when you are calling on another. Sometimes you imagine that you are giving good counsel to people, while your real desire is that they bow to you. Sometimes you blame yourself when you are really praising yourself.
